that the light we look for
burns us bare .
And if we stay long enough in the light ,
we are rebirthed .
No pain or pleasure to hold us down .No waste to tell of our having been or having lost .
It is inevitable that the light we yearn for ,
burns us bare .
And when it does , when we let it ;
we ascend .
